2021 Courses

“A student can go to college w/out knowing how to boil water, drive a car, sew a button, use a hammer or do laundry. In the backlash to the gendered-ness of Home Economics, we forgot it teaches kids important skills—regardless of gender.” ⁦- Christopher Rim, Forbes 2/19/20

These courses are available for schools, church youth groups, and any types of children's group that would like to learn practical life skills. Each course consists of 8 weekly classes, with each class 1.5 hours long. If a one-on-one course is desired, that is an option as well. Please contact us for registration information.

In Life Skills course your child will learn everything from cooking, cleaning and laundry to how to sew a button and use basic hand tools.

Nervous about the "Puberty Talk"? Let us take the reins, and guide your 4th-5th grade children through important information with facts, engaging activities, and practical knowledge. Your child will learn basic dining etiquette, gift giving and receiving, proper introductions and exits, and how to deal with modern issues such as social media bullying, gaslighting, and acting with kindness, towards themselves and others, regardless of circumstance.

Prepare your college freshman for living as an adult! Learn how to do laundry, clean well, cook basic meals, use basic hand tools to do simple maintenance, create a budget, avoid credit card schemes,  and navigate new social situations.
